Start a Brain Bee

Please first refer to the official IBB website at www.thebrainbee.org for current information.

Each local Brain Bee is organized by a coordinator who is affiliated with a university, research institute, high school, museum, biotech company, Society for Neurscience Chapter, or similar community. Local coordinators are given the flexibility to conduct their event at any time or place and with as much or as little conformity to other Brain Bees as desired to individualize the participant experience appropriately for their region.
However, all Brain Bees are required to follow some basic rules in order to uphold a high standard and overall fairness of the program.

Download the Brain Bee Organizer's Manual, a 138-page PDF compilation of guidelines, explanations, samples, templates, and brainstorms.

Contact the IBB Committee at astrid.eberhart@thebrainbee.org to get started with licensing your program, whether in a new locality of an established national program or a new country.
